Stand by me

Overview

Stand by me, 1986, directed by Rob Reiner, my favorite movie of all time. I remember watching it when I was younger, how one emotion stood out above the others: Anemoia, the nostalgia for an experience, place, person, time, or situation that never happened or was known in one's lifetime, because I have never been able to experience the places and stories that Stephen King created, his Oregon.

Challenges & Approach

No script, just going with the flow. The biggest challenge was to create a video that could recreate the atmosphere of the original film and that would capture its essence.

The result

Even if only for a few seconds, we can enter inside that 1960 summer portrayed in the film. One last summer before everyone's paths divide, walking on the border between youth and the will to not grow up yet.
